In the Interior

“In the Interior”
“This series represents a collection of artistic photos depicting different people in different interiors. I tried to solve the compositional problem of relationship between the figure and the space. Thus I put different people in different spaces in order to see which of these two was more dominant, more expressive – an individual or an environment. As for the mood of the compositions, it is mostly psychological and emotive. I tried to make the details that underlined the emotional or rather subconscious impressions about the spaces and people more prominent. To me the collection represents the illustrations of the visual fragments in the memory.”
